and has the ability to absorb, I have been creatively adjusting the delicate balance between strength and moisture in all my products.
Curly Hair Solutions™ has the perfect pH balance for curly hair. Results can only be judged by the successful performance in every type
of curly hair. I have discovered ingredients that perform effectively without using silicones. Some ingredients in our products are so
effective you will notice their benefits instantly, while others may only perform after a couple of extra applications. Some products may
only be necessary during the summer months and some are needed only during winter.
Key facts to help you understand the structure of hair
Elasticity
Elasticity refers to the ability of hair to stretch beyond its normal length and then return to its original state.
Normal hair, when wet, can be stretched to about 40 to 50% of its normal lenght and then return. Dry hair is not so elastic; it will stretch to about 20%
of its length before returning to normal position. The further the hair can be stretched without breaking, the more elastic it is. If elasticity is good, the hair slowly contracts to its
original state after stretching. Hair with poor elasticity will break quickly and easily when stretched.
Moisture
Moisture plays a critical role in the success of curl therapy as water can bind to the protein structure and the hair fiber. Normal, healthy curl hair may hold up to 20% of its weight in moisture.
Porosity is the ability not only to absorb moisture but to properly retain such precious moisture.
Hair porosityis affected by excessive to extreme high heat applicances such as blow-dryers and hot irons. In addition, damage from the sun, chlorine and continue use of harsh shampoos, colours,
highlights and straighteners/relaxers will cause hair to lose moisture.

Natural Magnesium
Adding magnesium produces longer lasting results. Magnesium restores broken salt bond and rebuilds them after chemical processing, (perming, straightening and colouring). Salt bonds account for 35% of the
hair's internal strenght. Only magnesium can restore broken salt bonds in the hair shaft and rebuild strong healthy hair.
Silk Amino Acids
Natural Silk is the strongest, natural fiber known to mankind. Discovered in Japan and has been used for centuries in all kinds of products that require durability. Silk has a tiny molecule that can penetrate the entire
hair shaft deeper than all other proteins without adding any weight leaving the hair feeling clean and non-greasy.
Panthenol
Naturally derived from bran, Panthenol transforms into vitamin B-5 when in contact with the skin or hair. It is essential for healthy hair growth and maintenance. It is excellent for adding and retaining moisture, shine
and also prevents split ends.
